AC/DC Adapter supports 100V to 240V!

One interesting news. The AC/DC Adapter that comes with Mint and Mint Plus can support both 110V and 240V! That means you do not need to modify your power supply to support 240V even though the Mint Cleaner manual states that the power adapter can only be used with 110V. I had used Mint on 240V for over a year and there have been no issues encountered with the power adapter.

  1. I have a Dell XPS M1530, it lasted about a year then it suddenly decided not to accept a charge. I got a replacement charger and it still wont work. Battery's health meter reads fine, any attempt to update software has failed and I cant update Dell's BIOS because my battery is now below 10%. My laptop is now nothing more than a glorified desktop.
    Thanks, @Rimi

  2. I was very skeptical about buying this AC adapter. I had changed batteries in my computer and I was still receiving a message that my Ac power adapter was not recognized and my battery was not charging. My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. Dell's website has the worst reviews for the AC adapters so I thought this would be a better/cheaper route. The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked right away. My screen did not display the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging. I am very pleased with this product.
